About Us

We, Prakriti, are a registered Volunteer Non for Profit organization with the aim to achieve sustainable development of the under-privileged and the environment, the organization works through various awareness programs, educational and development oriented seminars and special events, to bring about a social change.Registered under Society Registration Act 1860 (w.e.f. 01 August 2008), We are currently working on many issues like Education for Children, Environment Protection and Awareness, Plantation, Rainwater Harvesting, Renewable Energy, Women Empowerment and many more. To ensure our Quality management system we have achieved ISO 9001:2008 and are also a proud member of IGBC, CII, QCI and UNEP (WED Partner). Our strengths are a strong and motivated team, which is always willing to join hands for a cause and share a common zeal to bring a positive change. We are a young & dynamic group coming from diverse backgrounds but standing together for a common cause. We share a large variety of experience between us along with the flexibility to mold our resources to suit the needs of the projects. Along our journey we have made friends from all spheres of the society and those friends form the foundation of our confidence in ourselves. We are guided purely by causes and reasons we believe to be in best interest of our society and environment. We believe not in charity, but in teaching a man to fish. The fundamentals of sustainable development go deep within the culture of our team, and are reflected in every cause we involve ourselves in. Finally we are optimists, who believe that every positive action, however small it might be, is capable of creating a chain of events which can become a sustainable idea and manifest itself in the most grand of outcomes.On our part we just promise to relentlessly keep pursuing those small positive actions.
